Acupuncture

The fees are on a sliding scale of £20-£45  you choose what suits your budget so that you can complete a course of treatment. You will receive acupuncture in a communal treatment room, alongside others also receiving acupuncture.  By wearing suitable clothing which allows us access to your arms and lower legs nobody needs to undress and modesty is preserved.

In the near future we will forward booking-in forms,  a consent form and welcome letter (we are so full of good intentions here).  Meanwhile whilst we get organised we suggest you arrive 20mins early before your initial appointment to fill out the necessary forms.

To cut down on admin time, we ask where possible that you book your appointments online. If this is not possible then please book your next appointment at the beginning of your treatment session rather than the end (when you most likely just want to float on out of the building).

Could we ask that you pay for your treatment at the beginning either directly to the practitioner or in one of the envelopes provided (signing your name on the back otherwise we will not know you have paid!) and leaving it in the box.  At present we have no facilities for credit/debit cards so cash or cheque only for now please.

Ear (auricular) Acupuncture

Is used extensively and successfully in detox programmes .  Not only does it help with drug and alcohol dependency problems, it can be used for other anxieties, or concerns  and may help with stop smoking programmes, stress or other dependency problems. Only a few of your details are needed then it is just a case of having a few needles placed in your ear whilst you sit and relax in our waiting room for around 20mins (could be a lunchtime treat for you). The charge for this is £5.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

At Essex Acupuncture Room we have decided to no longer offer this treatment, our focus is on internal wellness, which will show up on your face for sure.

We politely ask that if you cannot attend an appointment to please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible preferably giving us 24hour notice. This is just basic courtesy to us and other clients who may be waiting on a cancellation appointment.
